Pia's Table
Pia's Table is a cookbook that celebrates history, tradition, food and family. It is a place of welcome for all. Pia shares family stories, pasta and gnocchi making tips and recipes, fish and meat dishes, breads, soups, salads, desserts and biscotti. There really is something for everyone and all are welcome on this culinary journey.
I met Pia through a previous cookbook photography project and we just hit it off! Pia decided to create her own cookbook featuring beautiful home-cooked traditional Italian recipes from her family’s repertoire. And given our shared background and love of all things Italian culture, family and food, I said yes!
As the photographer for this project, I had such a wonderful time styling each of the dishes with Pia’s props (and others I’d collected along the way) and then sampling each of the dishes of course. This is such a beautiful keepsake, and recipe book.
