13 June, 10am-12.30pm, Create Your Own Photography Book Workshop, Frankston

A practical, inspiring workshop with Fiona Basile

Have you ever dreamed of creating your own photographic coffee table book — but weren’t sure where to start?

In this hands-on, interactive workshop, award-winning photographer and storyteller Fiona Basile shares what she’s learned from creating Immerse, The Next Wave, and multiple collaborative books with fellow professional creatives, and clients.

Whether you’re a photographer, artist, writer, or someone with a story you want to preserve, this workshop will walk you through the process of creating a book from scratch — from shaping your concept and story, to sequencing images, editing, design considerations, printing options, and bringing the whole project to life.

This is a welcoming, practical session designed to demystify the process, spark ideas, and give you the confidence to begin (or continue) your own book journey. Expect real examples, honest insights, time for questions, and plenty of encouragement.

No prior publishing experience required — just curiosity and a love of storytelling.
