Fiona Basile joins the What’s Up Down Under team
In August and September 2026, Fiona Basile joined Channel 10’s What’s Up Down Under as a guest presenter for a four-part journey exploring Victoria’s beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
Travelling in her Camplify campervan, the aptly named Vandy Warhol, Fiona hit the road to meet some of the people, discover the places and share the stories that make this part of the world so special.

Episode 1: Seaford to Point Leo
22 August 2026
Fiona begins her Mornington Peninsula adventure close to home in Seaford, before hitting the road in Vandy Warhol and travelling along the coast to Point Leo. Along the way, she shares some of the people, places and experiences that make this beautiful part of Victoria so special.
Episode 2: Point Leo to Dromana
29 August 2026
The road trip continues from Point Leo to Dromana, as Fiona explores more of the Mornington Peninsula in Vandy Warhol. It’s another taste of life on the Peninsula—its coastline, local characters and some wonderful places to stop along the way.
Episode 3: Dromana to Blairgowrie
5 September 2026
From a bracing ocean swim with the Mt Martha Sea Wolves to local food, wildlife and glassblowing, Fiona discovers some of the people and experiences that bring the Mornington Peninsula to life. Her journey takes her through Mt Martha, Sages Cottage Farm, The Funky Farm and Gordon Studio Glassblowers before settling in by the coast.
Episode 4: Sorrento to Queenscliff
12 September 2026
For her final adventure, Fiona takes Vandy Warhol aboard the Searoad Ferry from Sorrento to Queenscliff, combining coastal travel with art, food and local creativity. Along the way she visits Queenscliff, Portsea and Le Capucin, before wrapping up her Mornington Peninsula road trip back by the water.
